Holiday loving at caroldale Elementary
This holiday season we are serving 10 carefully selected students & their families from Caroldale Elementary School in Carson, Ca. They are either unhoused or low-income families who needed the most support.
At Community Loving, we believe everyone deserves access to basic necessities and deserve more than to just survive. We want to make sure they get just that and more, especially during the holiday season, but we need your help.
We have gathered wish lists of each family member’s most needed and wanted items that you can take a look at and see what you can donate.
WE ARE COLLECTING:
CHILDREN’S/ADULT’S CLOTHES & SHOES
If used, it must be washed and sorted!
No stains, rips, or smells!
Most needed: jackets, boots, tennis shoes, socks & new underwear
All ages & all sizes
BLANKETS
If used, it must be washed
TOILETRIES
Ex: bar soap, toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, wipes, deodorant, chapstick, masks, hand sanitizer, first aid kits, etc.
A GIFT FROM THEIR WISH LIST!
If you see something on their wishlist you’d like to donate, you can either purchase it on our Target Registry (if available) & it will be delivered to us OR if you’d like to purchase it somewhere else or have one of your own that you’d like to donate (must be lightly used) & drop it off at our Donation Drives!

Fill out our simple donation form after viewing the wish list
All gifts dropped off at our Donation Drive must be unwrapped or unsealed
Include a post it with the the name of the recipient

LOCATION: First Christian Church of Torrance
2930 El Dorado St, Torrance, CA 90503
TIMES: Saturday (11/28 & 12/5) from 10am to 2pm
Wednesday (12/2 & 12/9) from 2pm to 5pm
DISTRIBUTION DAY
LOCATION: Caroldale Elementary School
TIME: 9 am to 11 am
